Here is also a list of our vegetarian sandwich suggestions:

I'm gluten intolerant, can I find gluten-free products in the point chaud range?

At point chaud, we offer gluten-free white bread and gluten-free cereal bread. Our ‘merveilleux’ pastry is also gluten-free. Our product development department is studying the project and other gluten-free products should be available soon.

Why don't sales assistants wear gloves at point chaud?

Point chaud has not opted to wear gloves because they give a false sense of hygiene, which is why they are not recommended by the Afsca.

That said, we scrupulously train our staff in good hygiene practices (washing and disinfecting hands, using tongs for certain products, etc.). We're also equipping most of our new shops with automatic checkouts to reduce the need to handle cash.

How can I find out which allergens are present in point chaud products?

In shop, our sales assistants have the technical data sheets for all our products.

On the our products page, you can find out about our products, their nutritional values and the allergens they contain.

Which products are prepared on site at point chaud?

Viennese pastries, baguettes and savoury products are prepared in shop.

Viennese pastries and baguettes need to be technically prepared and baked on site to guarantee freshness. This means that the products ferment for 4 hours in a fermentation chamber before being prepared and then baked. Some products also need to be decorated after baking.

Where do products come from that aren't prepared in shop?

Every day, our stores are supplied with fresh bakery, pastry and brioche products.

Our 4 production workshops are located on the Alleur estate and produce fresh products every day using traditional methods, according to the orders placed by our shops.

point chaud offers biodegradable bags. What are they made of?

Our biodegradable bags are made from corn starch and are 100% compostable.

They are completely decomposed in 6 months. However, after just 3 months, the bag is already almost completely decomposed. We're talking about home composting here.

Our packaging is also biodegradable.
