The history of point chaud began in 1980 when Yannick Morizot, a French baker, created point chaud France with the idea of offering fresh, hot bread throughout the day.
13 years later, in 1993, our director, Didier Depreay, decided to develop point chaud in Belgium. And so began the point chaud adventure.
Our slogan ‘tant qu'il y aura du goût’ (as long as there's taste) reveals our mission: to give our customers the pleasure of tasting a variety of fresh, quality products, all day long.
In addition to the taste experience, our tasting rooms are designed to make customers feel at home, so that they can spend a pleasant moment there.
Did you know that point chaud was the first Belgian chain to offer filled croissants?
Since its beginnings, point chaud has been constantly innovating to renew the art of indulgence and vary the pleasures !
White, grey or speciality breads, traditional or filled Viennese pastries, a variety of sandwiches, salads and other savoury products. Over 200 products, always fresh, make up our range.
Ongoing innovation and research ensure that our products evolve in line with our focus on taste and crispness.

2000 : A new manufacturing site is set up in the Alleur industrial estate. In 7 years, we already have 17 point of sales in Belgium, most of them in the province of Liège. This rapid growth led to the construction of a new workshop.
2007 : New visual identity ! 14 years after our beginnings in Belgium, we decided to give the brand a makeover ! The creation of a new visual identity and a genuine "concept store", with a younger, more contemporary image, were designed to target a more varied customer base. This new identity implies a radical change in our design and a total renovation of our point chaud !
That same year, Point chaud Belgium bought out the French chain.
